Essential Oils Safety and Precautions

Essential oils can be hazardous, and should be handled with care. Following are the contraindications for essential oils:

SAFETY PRECAUTIONS:

• FLAMMABLE (avoid near open flame, and store below 30oC)
• KEEP OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN. If ingested, seek immediate Medical attention.
• Irritants (to skin and can cause headaches)
• Do not apply directly on skin. Always use a carrier oil. Skin patch test is recommended if sensitive 
• Avoid near eyes
• Internal use can be dangerous

 Caution to be taken around pets:

• Do not apply oils on animal
• Seek immediate Vet advice if consumed
• Do not diffuse or spray directly around animals or on their beds
• Do not diffuse in a closed room with a pet
